Raspberry Pi Water Level Monitoring
Use affordable Raspberry Pi edge hardware to collect ultrasonic readings and send them to WellSenseOS.
Supported boards
WellSenseOS edge images and agents target Raspberry Pi 3B+, 4, and 5. Always check the current image docs for architecture (typically arm64 on newer builds) before flashing. Get the official image from the Download page (account required).
What the Pi does
- Reads the ultrasonic sensor on a schedule
- Runs the WellSenseOS edge agent
- Sends readings to the cloud when online
- Supports SoftAP first-boot Wi‑Fi and account binding
Sensors, networking, and power
Pair with an HC-SR04-class ultrasonic, stable 5V power, and Wi‑Fi coverage at the tank or well. Weatherproof mounts matter outdoors.
Remote management
After provisioning, manage the device from the portal: assign wells, watch heartbeats, and review readings. Step-by-step SoftAP flow is in the setup guide.
